CSR maturity manufacturer
The methodology used by the EcoGuide IT to assess materials is based on three poles of socio-environmental criteria: CSR of the manufacturer, the product life cycle and its energy consumption.
Product life cycle
The social and environmental impact of the product is analyzed for each phase of its life cycle, that is to say: the extraction of raw materials, manufacturing, distribution, utilization as well as end of life of the product. Thus, we use socio-environmental criteria such as resource consumption, emissions of harmful substances to both the environment and health, carbon emissions from transport, environmental impacts related to packaging, noise pollution, recycling of the product or also the possibility of longer shelf-life.
Energy efficiency is also part of our assessment. To achieve this, we analyze the energy consumption of equipment, whether it is on-power or in standby mode. To this end, we also consider TEC - Total Electric Energy Consumption - depending on the product category.
